The “Heavy Hearts” EP Party of Edward Ramirez is happening on April 27! And here’s everything we know about it.
Edward Ramirez has set to release his new EP entitled ‘Heavy Hearts’ next month! In relation to this, he organized a gig to celebrate the release.
Edward draws his influence from alternative, indie, and emo rock bands to bring us music that we can all relate to. So far, he has released 3 singles on Spotify: Preparing for a ‘Car Crash’, ‘Love’, and ‘Eastern Love Letters‘.
In one of his songs, he said, “I’m unreliable and hardly likable,” but we highly doubt that! Listening to his songs, you can really feel the emotions he’s trying to convey. There’s a lot of sadness to it actually, even though he presented it in a genre that wouldn’t sound so gloomy. If you go through the lyrics, you’d see so much confusion and self-doubt. His writing is definitely something he derives from experience.
We will hear Edward’s new EP, ‘Heavy Hearts’ next month! And can you believe that’s it’s already 2 and a half years in the making? This is definitely something worth waiting for. Looks like he put a lot of thought, time, and effort in this EP! Meanwhile, the release party will be held at Mow’s Bar in Quezon City on April 27, 2019.
By the looks of it, we think ‘Heavy Hearts’ is the kind of album that can make us cry when we listen to it. Our expectations couldn’t be any higher, but let’s just let Edward sing his heart out during the gig. Because that’s what music is about. You can stream all three of his singles too, so we can sing along with him while waiting for the much-awaited EP launch!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete gig if there aren’t other artists, right? Well, guess what! Room 14, bird.,Brickcity (OFFICIAL), Luncheon, and Rusty Machines will be there too! What an exciting lineup! Edward really did bring together bands that he knows people would enjoy listening to, and we couldn’t be more excited for the release of his EP. The event will have a pay-what-you-can kind of set up.
We are so stoked for this EP release! Will we be seeing you there? Let us know in the comment section below. You can also send us a message on our Facebook or Twitter @UDoUPh. Let’s all have a fun time together! See you there!
