March 8, 2019 Kae Luna

Maroon 5 just performed live in the Philippines for the 5th time for their Red Pill Blues Tour! And we ‘won’t go home’ without giving you the recap you need.

Maroon 5 is back! Filipino fans have loved the pop-rock band for a long time now. Did you miss them? Because it clearly showed during their Red Pill Blues tour last March 5! The Mall of Asia Arena was PACKED.

The band never comes to disappoint! Here they are performing Forever Young/ Girls Like You:

‘Red Pill Blues’ Tour is Maroon 5’s sixth concert tour in support for their album ‘Red Pill Blues’ in 2017. The shows started in Ecuador last year and are set to conclude in July next year in Paris, France. The Philippines is part of the Asian leg for the tour and as expected, the Filipino fans were all for it!

The band’s performance was everything we had hoped it to be! The set included ‘Girls Like You’, ‘This Love’, ‘Sugar’, and many more hits from the band that Pinoy fans have come to love. I don’t know about you, but I don’t mind spending every day listening to Adam Levine sing. I mean, we have to give the guy some credit, he has a better vocal range than most females. We¬†definitely wish we could sing like that! Nonetheless, the band wowed us as a team and we surely hope to see more.

Too much crowd energy?

On another note, some hoped that the Pinoy fandom would tone it down a little bit so that the experience can be better enjoyed by other fans.

He certainly has a point, you guys. We have seen the same thing happen to many concerts held here. That’s just how hard the Pinoy crowd loves our idols, we are known for that crowd energy, but I guess the sugar rush can’t be helped. This is Maroon 5 after all!
