GAMES: Dota 2 comes to Disneyland Paris

Details are not yet sure but it seems like Dota 2 is coming to Disneyland Paris for another Major this DPC season!
Apparently, we might be seeing a Dota 2 Major in the happiest place on earth: Disneyland. Only 2 Majors left announced this season. But Esports Insider has yet to reveal one of the two Majors to come. According to Esports Insider, Disneyland Paris will be the next host for the Major.
The information was revealed after a recruitment consultant advertised a sales role related to Dota 2 Major Paris. As a matter of fact, Esports Insider managed to confirm the information. Truthfully, Paris will host the next Major and the event will indeed be at Disneyland Paris. They will partner with Mars Media, the organization behind successful events like MDL.
This is not Disney’s first time to get on the esports scene. They have been tryign to penetrate the industry before. Notably, the’ve broadcasted an Overwatch League and the Injustice 2 Pro Series Grand Finals on Disney XD. They even took part in the League of Legends Open Tour France before.
To be honest, France is much more famous for hosting League of Legends events. They’ve had a long history of organizing and bring LoL to French men. But this will be the first time for Dota 2 to head to France. We only know one notable Frenchman in the Dota 2 scene. Sebastian ‘7ckngMad’ Debs, OG’s playing coach, is famous for recently helping OG win at The Internation 2018.
So far, there are no further details yet regarding the event. But the Major in Disneyland Paris can happen between the following dates scheduled for Majors: May 2 – 12 and June 20 – 30.
Speaking of Majors, the Dota Pro Circuit goes to Stockholm, Sweden for The Stockholm Major this March. The Stockholm Major will be DreamLeague’s 11th Season installment.
