To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel has been given the green light! That’s right, everyone. Our Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky love story are onto the next chapter!
We all fell in love with the story of Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky when the rom-com was released on Netflix last August 17. The ending gave us such a cliffhanger! And I’m sure everyone is holding their breaths for an announcement of the second movie for the second book, ‘P.S. I Still Love You’.
And good news everyone! To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel is happening! Netflix has finally confirmed it and I’m just so excited to see one of my favorite young adult books to come to life again.
‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ follows the story of Lara Jean (played by Lana Condor). Out of fear of being in a relationship and being left behind, Lara Jean kept all of her feelings to herself. She fell in love with five guys and wrote them a love letter each which she kept hidden in her late mother’s beautiful box.
However, in an unexpected turn of events, the letters were out and sent to the addressees. Not wanting to face the confrontation of her older sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh, who was one of the recipients, she entered a fake relationship with Peter Kavinsky.
Peter Kavinsky (played by Noah Centineo), also received a love letter from Lara Jean. Wanting to make his recent ex-girlfriend jealous, he proposed the fake relationship with Lara Jean. Moving forward, these two fell in love and eventually got together! I’m telling you, this chick flick was oozing with kilig!
At the end tho, one of the recipients of the love letter showed up in Lara Jean’s doorstep with a bouquet! Oh no, I’m smelling some intense love triangle brought about by the arrival of good-looking John Ambrose McClaren!
If you’ve read Jenny Han’s second book, ‘P.S. I Still Love You’, you’d definitely know what’s about to go down! 😉
*Squeals!!!* Ahhhhh, the sequel is finally confirmed! Lana Condor posted this very cute video announcement on her Instagram feed just 12 hours ago. Go check it out!
Of course, we will be seeing Lana Condor and Noah Centineo for the sequel. But oh man, Lana just had to mention John Ambrose in the end, huh?
But oh well, twists can be good right? As long as we’re seeing more of our new favorite rom-com! I’m just so excited I’ll take anything lol!
