Furiosa Year-Ender was a blast! The Successful Yada Yada Yada EP Launch was filled with amazing performances by spectacular bands and artists! And we are here to make sure you’re updated on what went down in the event!
The successful Yada Yada Yada EP launch was held in Mow’s Bar last Saturday (November 24). It was funfilled and exciting because tons of talented artists showcased their amazing music. You weren’t there to experience it? Well, we don’t want you to miss out on the happenings, so here’s a recap of the event!
Remember the article we wrote about the Furiosa Year-ender event? Yeah, t’was a very successful event! An estimate of 100-130 people went. Almost a full house! And to refresh your memory here’s the line up of the event:
– Cancer City
– The Mad Lilacs
– Our Inflatable Friends
– The Rave Tapes
– The Shocking Details
– The Strangeness
– Through the Waves (Pangasinan)
– Washington Drama Club
Amazingly, JLE Music was able to capture most of the performance! For those of you who weren’t able to be there, you’re welcome.
Earthmover is composed of 3 members namely Daniel Garcia (Guitar), Gerald Guerrero (Bass), and Dru Ubaldo (Drums). They play headbanging instrumentals and doubtlessly they shook the ground with their hardcore performance in the event! They had everybody rocking out to their music and to be honest, listening to the video had us banging our heads too!
Repping Rizal/Manila, GYHT, consisting Rosan (Vocals), Patrick (Guitar), Brucher (Guitar, Synths, Loops, Samples), Dem (Bass), and Gibson (Drums), brought their astounding sound to Mow’s Bar. They are definitely a talented group of people and we see nothing more amazing opportunities for the band.
Aside from hardcore music, there was also swabe indie music during the event. Mad Lilacs with their members Elo Dinglasan (vocals/guitar), Mike Tee (bass/backing vocals), Benj Ledesma (guitar), James Marco (drums), and Marco Azurin – (trumpet) gave us exactly that with a hint of jazz.
There were more groundbreaking performances from outstanding artists but to cap it all off, Washington Drama Club brought the house down with the launch of their EP and their spectacular performance!
They brought only 22 copies of the Vishnu designed cassette and a lot of the attendees grabbed a copy for themselves! With their beautifully arranged music and relatable lyrics, it’s not a surprise that many rushed to get their copy.

All of those who got the said album expressed their congratulatory notes for the band and the success of the launch. And we would also like to congratulate Washington Drama Club, Furiosa, and everyone that took part in the event! Mabuhay indie artists, Mabuhay OPM!
