November is about to end and we know what’s in your head: Christmas shopping! So we’ve compiled places where to do your early Christmas shopping spree!
Christmas is upon us! And we know it is exciting and all because of the food, parties, and gifts. Christmas Gifts. Yaaaaas! But you know it’s better to give them than to receive them, right?
So why not shop this early for your loved ones so you won’t have to experience the hustle and bustle of last minute Christmas shopping? 😉
Yeah, you know that satisfying feeling when you’re done with your Christmas shopping! We mean, yeah maybe it can be scary to look at your wallet after you’ve done it. But hey! At least you are about to make your loved ones happy once you give them your gifts! Also, it doesn’t have to be very expensive!
To help you out, here are some places on where to do your early Christmas shopping spree!
Ahhh, yes. The garment capital of the Philippines, the better Divisoria (clothing-wise), and the go-to place of the frugal fashionistas. Taytay tiangge is the place to be if you want to shop for inexpensive but quality clothing articles! Go on ahead and do your Christmas shopping there! If you are not from around there, the commute/travel may be a little hectic. But once you arrive, we promise it won’t disappoint! Taytay Tiangge is open 6 AM to midnight but some of the stalls are still open until 2 AM!
The OG wonderland of shopaholics! You can find things here for your home, car, office, bakery, police stations, heck! Even for your freaking pets! Divisoria is the place to find anything and everything you need at a very low price (especially if you buy in bulk)! So if you have 300 godchildren, then go crazy and shop at one of Manila’s centers of trade and commerce. Divisoria is open 8 am to 7 pm.
Don’t want to bump elbows with anyone in Divisoria and Taytay? Then do your shopping at Greenhills! It’s not as cheap as the first two but at least it’s not as crowded. lol. Originally, the Greenhills Shopping Mall was built for the high-class residents around the area but now it’s another go-to place for the penny-wise shopping addicts! We’re sure you’ll find awesome gifts out there for your loved ones, just good luck finding parking if you’re driving. The mall opens 10 am and closes at 9 pm.
Every year, Marikenyas and Marikenyos wait for the opening of Riverbank’s Christmas Bazaar because just like the first two, items sold here are at rock-bottom prices! The plus part? It’s by the riverside! Which is ultra cool! And aside from that, once you’ve braved the bridge that’s been there for god-knows how long, at the other side of the river, is a freaking perya! Woot woot! So after you’re done Christmas shopping you can risk your lives on the rickety rides and win a stuffed animal or a plate on the coin throwing thingy game whose prices on the other side are just 1/8 of what you’ve spent just to win the damn thing! Kidding! The rides are safe and it’s so much fun especially if you’re visiting there with your friends. The bazaar is open 9 AM to midnight.
5. Cash & Carry
Not a fan of unbranded stuff? Don’t like sweating too much? Still on a budget? Gotchu! Cash & Carry is your playground! It’s the place where you can find branded merchandise at a lower price! The mall is open every day from 9 AM to 9 PM.
It’s an exciting season but sometimes stores and mall can get really busy as Christmas draws nearer. So go do your Christmas shopping now! Unless you live life on the edge and want to do it last minute. It’s really up to you! Either way, happy shopping!
