Maskipaps: The Crossover 2018 is bringing the after party you all need right after the famous and much-awaited UP Lantern Parade!

Maskipaps: The Crossover 2018 is back stronger than ever as the official after party of the University of the Philippines Diliman’s annual lantern parade happening this December 14, Friday. Being held at the UP Sunken Garden, UP Beta Epsilon Fraternity promises to give everyone a whole new vibrant experience in this year’s Maskipaps: The Crossover.

Attendees would be able to have a whole new experience with Maskipaps through the sensation and vibes of Hydro Manila and Raveolution. Together with Super Awesome Productions and co-presented by AfterParty, UDOU, and YFPH—Maskipaps 2018 is certainly the after party to look forward to.

After enjoying the festive and the wonderful display of UP’s lantern parade, Maskipaps 2018 is bringing top-notch performers of the country ranging from singers, dancers, and DJs. Get to experience the music of Al James, Gracenote, Because, and Better Days. Favorite bands in the music scene will also be flaring up the night with their tracks; namely Ben&Ben, Silent Sanctuary, and December Avenue. To complete the overall experience, Fluokids, Manila Bomb Squad, Everyday People, and AfterParty’s very own Marc Marasigan and Victor Pring will be hyping up the night with their sick beats.

Tickets are available at P300.00 for UP students, P350.00 for non-UP students, and P450.00 for walk-ins. Tickets can be purchased from the UP Beta Epsilon Tambayan (2F Melchor Hall, UP Diliman), meet-ups around UP Diliman campus, and/or from the ambassadors, promoters, and organization partners. Online tickets can also be purchased at Platinumlist for P350.00.

This year, however, it is not only about having a good time and celebrating the night with quality music and performers from the country. Maskipaps 2018 is also addressing the issue of the Philippines as being the third largest contributor of plastic wastes in the ocean. This year, Maskipaps aims to promote sustainability and waste management together with the YFPH (2030 Youth Force in the Philippines Inc.). The Philippines has been facing the issues of plastic pollution and garbage being littered especially at known party beaches in the country such as Boracay and La Union. Maskipaps 2018 aims to promote segregating trash properly whilst having fun and partying all night.
