As All The Way Up Grand Finals at Meralco Theatre is getting nearer, crews only get more and more electrifying, energetic and passionate. So without further ado, here is a quick recap of what happened at last week’s All The Way Up Elimination Round 3!
The newest, hottest, and most competitive dance contest by AfterParty and RockWell “All The Way Up Dance Competition 2018” kicked-off its third elimination round last Friday at URBN QC.
The event started with a minor set-back because of the unforeseen circumstances and the current weather, some of the crew weren’t able to come on time and some didn’t came at all. Our host and AfterParty’s very own Victor Pring was not an exception to this. Yet, the event pushed through as it was supposed to be. The cheeky and charismatic substitute host hyped-up the crowd by introducing last weeks top notch judges: The Champion, and Rockwell’s main man, Rhemuel Lunio, The Superstar Matt Padilla and the beautiful Kim Rodriguez.
After formal introductions, the stage is set for another round intense, back-to-back dance battles as 21 crews will clash head-to-head for a spot at the Grand Finals.
Like the last time, performances from each crew are both electrifying and exhilarating as all of the groups gave their best as they move, sweat, jump and danced as one. As each crew were like a single unit, performing and dancing to the same beat and rhythm. You can see at each members faces the passion as they go all out to secure a spot in the Grand Finals.
The show was straight fire as audiences cheered until their voice box couldn’t handle it anymore.
This week’s special performance was delivered by Matt Padilla, a professional dance artist and also represents the world renowned group “The Philippine All Star”.
He delivered a performance that solidified his position as a judge in All The Way Up. His smooth moves wowed the audience and crews alike as his performance was truly astonishing and astounding.
After a great show by the crews and judges alike, it was time to announce the winner. You could hear the room go silent as everyone is nervous, hoping and praying that their routine wowed the judges and the audiences at the same time.
The crowd roared with cheers as Victor announces the winners one-by-one who’ll be moving up to the grand finals. Even if some didn’t won, you could see it in their faces that they were still glad that they got to join the contest and became a part of something great.
