Thank god it’s Friday, again—time to destress after a long week at work, although it may be a huge slap on the face when your workmates are asking you to go with them, only to find out that you only have a couple of bucks left in your wallet. A lot of us may be on a tight budget now because payday’s not happening until Tuesday.

Don’t fret yet as these local music places got you covered with their food that costs P200 or less:

Mow’s

Mows Bar

Location: Kowloon House Basement, 20 Matalino St, Diliman, Quezon City

Mow’s bar is definitely one of my favorite local music places to visit. If you’re in for some intimate music night, Mow’s is located in Kowloon House’s basement, so it’s perfect for your Chinese food cravings. Kowloon bola-bola pao (P65) is a must-try, and their dimsums under P100!

Mang Rudy’s

Location: 7522 Bagtikan Street, San Antonio Village, Makati

Mang Rudy’s is also known for their weekly music events, and their pork sisig meal (P175) is definitely one of the bests among their long list of food. The gig room is just a little small, so you can eat outside before watching the show.

Route 196

Location: 196-A Katipunan Ave, Project 4, Quezon City

Another gig place dominated by millennials, Route 196’s pizza costs about P200-300, but it’s already good for two or more, so be sure to drag your friends with you so you can split the bill! Try their Tom & Bass pizza (P250).

XX:XX

Location: La Fuerza Plaza 1, 2241 Don Chino Roces Avenue, San Lorenzo, Makati City

XX:XX is another EDM place you’d want to visit for your party moods. 20:20 burger is probably one of the best-sellers, but you can also try their other meals. Tapas menu only costs P100 during their happy hour from 7 PM to 10 PM. You can even score 2 Tapas meal for P250 on Wednesdays! (And kudos to their IG-worthy 20:20 mugs.)

Black Market

Location: Warehouse 5, La Fuerza Plaza, Chino Roces Avenue Corner Sabio Street, San Lorenzo, Makati City

Persia House recently opened at Black Market’s Bodega, and reviews say they serve value-for-money food. Authentic Persian keema, kebabs and saffron chicken—what more can you ask for?

See you can still enjoy the music scene even on a tight budget—these local music places will provide you with good songs, amazing crowd, and cheap delish food!
