At a press conference held at the Universal Records office, we got to ask him a few questions about his inspirations and what we can look forward to from him in the future.

How does it feel to be a protege of Gloc-9?

Who do you dream to collaborate with?

“Marami, maraming magagaling.

What did you think of when you were writing your verse in the song “Norem” since the theme seems to dwell around the idea of today’s socio-political issues?

Who were your influences growing up?

What message do you want to bring to people through your songs?

What can we expect from your future songs?

“Ibat ibang taste, Ibat ibang mood, Ibat ibang vibe, at maraming marami pa.”

Among the many projects in store for Shanti Dope is an upcoming single, a concert to launch a new album, as well as an international collaboration with Krazie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Mimi. Shanti Dope, together with Gloc-9, will also be a special guest in the Ultimate hiphop OG Bone Thugs-N-Harmony concert on September 5, 2018 at the Mall Of Asia Arena.
