Join the artists of Coke Studio PH season one for the Coke Studio Live Benefit Concert! Not only do you get to see your favorite acts, but you also get to help our brothers and sisters in war-torn Marawi.

Starting From a Good Place

Producers and former bandmates Buddy Zabala and Raymund Marasigan launched Coke Studio PH earlier this July with six pairs of artists. The goal was to create unique collaborations between an old-timer (not in terms of age!) in the music industry and a rising musician/band. These collaborations included transforming a song of the opposing musician into their own, and writing and performing a song together.

The Marawi Crisis

Meanwhile, the residents of Marawi City have just begun rebuilding their lives. After five months of armed conflict between the Philippines, Maute, and the Abu Sayaff jihadist groups, the crisis ended with the city in rubble. With 87 civilians and 165 government forces killed, it hasn’t been easy for them. Japan, China, and the United States have pledged billions of dollars in aid and now, so can you with the help of Coke Studio PH.

Helping Rebuild Marawi

Almost all the artists from season one—The Ransom Collective, Gab and John from Urbandub, Abra, Gracenote, Moonstar88, Autotelic, Ebe Dancel, Franco, Reese Lansangan, BP Valenzuela, Sandwich, Noel Cabangon, and Curtismith are there with you to spread the holiday cheer. Jensen and the Flips, however, will not be joining the concert after they were droppedby Coca-Cola Phliippines just last week.

Entrance is absolutely free, but fans are strongly urged to bring empty Coca-Cola plastic bottles as a donation to help the reconstruction of a school in Marawi. The Coke Studio Live Benefit Concert will take place on December 9 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Gates open at 2 PM with performances from the Coke Studio artists happening from 7 PM to 12:20 AM, and a closing DJ set from 12:20 to 1 AM.

Let’s come together and help our fellow Filipinos in Marawi get their lives back together. See you there!
