More than a year since his Manila debut, Canadian producer/DJ Ryan Hemsworth will be coming back for a second round! Celebrate the coming of Christmas at the Moonbeats Xmas Party with Ryan Hemsworth and Friends on December 23 at Black Market, Makati.

“Born on the Internet”

Prior to his official entrance in the music scene, he was already making beats while studying journalism at University of King’s College in his hometown of Nova Scotia. Hemsworth made rounds on the interwebs in 2011 when he released his first album “Distorted” in collaboration with Shady Blaze. Since then he’s released two other full-length albums and a number of mixtapes, EPs, and remixes for Beyonce, Outkast, Kanye West, and the likes.

His ability to blur the lines between genres made him one of the fastest rising producers of this decade. The man’s ability shines during his sets with his eclectic mix of currently popular rap songs (he loves Drake and Future), his own remixes, pop songs from the early 2000s, and modern corny pop songs that are on the edge of overkill. He even participated in Red Bull Music Academy’s “Diggin’ in the Carts Documentary”, where he released a remix from the “Street Fighter II” soundtrack alongside Wavves and Knxwledge.
