If you’re someone who has attended at least a few music festivals, there is a huge chance you have heard some songs being played every time to get the crowd roaring. Refresh your memory and listen to these songs that are a somewhat classic to the EDM world just in time for music festival season:

Clarity by Zedd featuring Foxes

If you want the people singing along to your set, just play this track and they will all automatically sing along. Clarity was such a huge hit, it was the song that skyrocketed Zedd’s career, and has been remixed by so many other DJs. Years after its release and hay day, you can still hear it being played in various events and festivals, that’s how big this is.

Reload by Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash

The song was initially released as an instrumental back in 2012 and has remained in Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour setlist before it was rereleased with vocals by John Martin. Reload’s simple groove and winding synth is something that people can relate to, whether they’re dancing or not.

Bomb a Drop by Garmiani

Bomb a Drop was released early in 2016 and became the most played track of Tomorrowland 2016. It also managed to reach the top 10 of Beatport’s Electro House chart. Garmiani’s fast-paced style is something that will definitely get you jumping up and down.

Beautiful World by Blasterjaxx

You will really put on your ‘rave face’ just as the song suggests when this is being played by any DJ in any event you’re in. Ryder’s vocals blends perfectly into the song while it preps you into the following beats and drops.

Bad by David Guetta & Showtek

David Guetta’s collaboration with Dutch DJ duo Showtek and vocals by Vassy was the second single in Guetta’s album Listen. The song is such a hit because of how it erupts from the infectious vocals to its full danceable beats.

Beautiful Now by Zedd

The song’s iconic BAH BAH BAH BABABAH BAH BAH BABABAH BAH BAH BAH BABABAH BABABABA” is a real favorite in all of Zedd’s performances. The specific beat break will get people jumping right before dancing on the drop, just like what happened in the recent Road to Ultra Philippines 2017.

Alive by Empire of the Sun

How do you know if you’ve made it big in the electronic music world? It’s when you’re song is being played and is being remixed by a lot of major DJs all over the world, which is what Alive has accomplished. With remixes coming from Zedd, David Guetta, and more, millions of people have danced to the song in various shows and music festivals

Calling (Lose My Mind) by Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso

It’s no wonder how this song managed to top Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs back in 2011, after all it featured the works of Swedish DJs Sebastian Ingrosso (of then Swedish House Mafia) and Alesso, the vocals of Ryan Tedder (of OneRepublic), and Canadian artist Matthew Koma who helped in writing the track. Once you hear it being played in a festival, you’ll instantly know that it’s a classic.

Apollo by Hardwell

Known as one of Hardwell’s best hits, Apollo is the follow-up track to his other hit ‘Spaceman’. The track carries you from its melodic chorus and vocals of Amba Shepherd to its electro bassline backbone that is a surefire hit in the club scene. The title came from the city in Houston where Hardwell started the track in his hotel room. It’s really no wonder his songs are big names in the EDM scene, he is afterall a 2-time DJ MAG Number 1 DJ. Hardwell’s next Asian festival stop will be this December for Djakarta Warehouse Project!

Tremor by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Martin Garrix

Dutch DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike collaborated with the current DJ Mag Top DJ Martin Garrix to create this track and was eventually released by Spinnin Records to serve as the anthem for Dutch dance event Sensation. DVLM has also made it a point to perform this track in their major shows all over the world.
