Filipinos all over the country expressed their sadness when the band themselves announced that they will be taking a break. Now, Kamikazee has just announced that they will be coming back together as a band in 2018.

Few details have been unveiled about the Kamikazee Tagpuan Tour 2018, but what’s important is the confirmation itself. The band, who is well known for their timeless hits “Narda,” “Martyr Nyebera,” “Huling Sayaw,” and more.

Another Tagpuan?

Kamikazee’s Tagpuan tour refers to their 2012 hit of the same name. Interestingly enough, part of the lyrics could be seen as dedicated to their comeback:

Magkikita tayo muli
Parang batang kinikilig
Di mapakali at nasasabik
Mahawakan kang muli

The band posted a short video of a previous live performance in black and white on their official Instagram account. They have been teasing “Tagpuan” and a new song for months now.

Kamikazee briefly reunited in August 2015, but they played their farewell concert in December 2015. The band itself was formed when five of the members met at the College of Fine Arts in University of the Philippines, Diliman. Most of their first few gigs were just around the campus before they went on to be one of the biggest OPM bands in the country for nearly two decades now.
