British pop rock band The Vamps returns for the fourth time in the Philippines in support for their “Middle of the Night” tour on October 6, 2017 in Luna Drive, Vertis North, Quezon City.
Night & Day
The Middle of the Night tour is in support to The Vamps’ third album, Night and Day, which also happens to be the second single in the album. It’s a collaboration between The Vamps and DJ Martin Jensen. They collaborated with Norwegian DJ Matoma for their first single called “All Night” and was the most charted song of theirs to date.
Night and Day is slated to be released as two separate parts, with the Night Edition being released last July while the Day Edition will be released on December this year. According to the social media accounts of the band members, they will also release their own formats on the album named after themselves. Those formats will include exclusive tracks and posters.
New Hope Club
Aside from The Vamps, British trio New Hope Club will also be present in the show to open the event. The trio is one of the bands signed under the record label by The Vamps called Steady Records. New Hope Club initially opened the UK leg of the Wake Up tour.
New Hope Club was first formed in October 2015 with only George Smith and Blake Richardson as members. Reece Bibby was a member of another boyband called Stereo Kicks and joined George and Blake a few months after Stereo Kicks went their separate ways. He was also a contestant in The X-Factor UK Season 11 back in 2014 and finished fifth.
Their first song was a cover of The Vamps’ song, Wake Up. They were then signed under Steady Records and released their debut EP, ‘Welcome to the Club’ which included four songs.
Middle of the Night Tour in Manila
For the Manila leg of their tour, presenters MMI Live and Ayala Malls released a set of admission mechanics for everyone who wanted to catch The Vamps live. Certain privileges are reserved for the Amore Credit, Amore Prepaid, and Ayala Rewards Circle card holders as well.
The Vamps have been to Manila several times before and with the amount of reception they’re getting from their Filipino fans, it’s no wonder that they love going back.
Are you going to see them on October 6th? What songs are you looking forward to hearing from The Vamps?
