22,000 concert goers were evacuated last Saturday, July 29, from Parc De Can Zam in Barcelona, Spain as the main stage of Unite With Tomorrowland 2017 – Barcelona caught fire.
The blaze started on the upper right side of the stage and quickly incinerated it. A performance in Belgium was being live streamed when it happened and American DJ Steve Aoki was set to perform on that same stage in a few hours.
The fire took down the whole stage in a matter of minutes as seen in the video uploaded on YouTube.

Despite the incident, there were no major casualties reported except for some minor injuries that were treated. The evacuation prompt flashed on the screen moments after the fire started while the rescue team responded to the situation.
The organizers said a technical problem caused the fire that led to the cancellation of the festival. They also promised that the festival goers would get their ticket refunded in full. They also said that the most important thing is that no one was harmed.
