June 8, 2017 AFTERPARTY TEAM
Ed Sheeran fans will finally get to see him perform live in Manila. Ovation Productions has announced the official “Divide” tour details for the Ed Sheeran concert in Manila this 2017.
There has been a long-standing rumor of Ed Sheeran performing live in Manila for quite some time now. However, there were no official announcements until now.
Ed Sheeran did announce in a short video earlier this year that there will be an Asian tour. However, the “Shape of You” singer did not confirm dates for the Philippines at the time.
The Ed Sheeran Live in Manila concert will happen on November 7, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, according to the Philippine Star. Some fans are not happy because of the concert venue.
Change of venue?
Those who have offices and condos near the MOA Concert Grounds easily viewed the previous Coldplay concert even without paying for a ticket. Ed Sheeran fans now want the concert venue to be changed. There is even a change.org petition for the said cause.
Ed Sheeran Divide Concert in Manila Tickets
The cheapest of the tickets is priced at PHP 1950 for the General Admission, according to GMA News. Those who really want to spend can avail of the Patron A ticket at PHP 13,040. Other ticket prices are as follows:
Patron B: P11,450
Patron C: P8,290
Tickets will be sold by SM Tickets starting June 10 at 10:00 AM via their website. Better grab them early before scalpers and resellers get them and sell them at double or triple the price.
Carpool Karaoke with James Corden
Another good news for Ed Sheeran fans is the new Carpool Karaoke video with James Corden starring the “Photograph” singer. As expected, they sang Ed Sheeran’s songs such as “Sing” and “Castle on the Hill.” Fans were also treated to his rendition of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” on guitar.
