Saucony’s Sweet Drop at SneakPeek Trinoma – “The Chocolate Pack” Launch
May 29, 2017 AFTERPARTY TEAM
The Saucony Originals Shadow 5000 Elite
Inspired by the candy making history of Massachusetts, Saucony has paid tribute to their home base with the Chocolate Pack as highlighted in the rich suede, soft leather lining, and gold accented designs.
For a little Cambridge history, read the caption of this post:
#SPexclusive Fifty years ago in Kendall Square, Main Street was once known as “Confectioner’s Row”. Many major candy companies were producing products that are still known and loved today, such as Junior Mints, NECCO wafers, Charleston Chews and Sugar Daddies. The Cambridge connection with candy dates back to 1765 and an Irish immigrant by the name of John Hannon. Hannon established America’s first chocolate mill along the Neponset River. For the next 100 years Cambridge would grow to become one of the largest industrial centers for candy makers. From 1910 to 1946 the amount of candy manufacturers would grow from 16 to 66. With that said we give you the Saucony Originals Shadow 5000 “Chocolate Pack”. Inspired by the rich history in candy making of Cambridge, MA. #the_sneakpeek #PAYSF #peekandyoushallfind #sauconyoriginalsph

Hanging Out with Sponge Cola’s Yael and Ted (a.k.a. DJ Tmacvibe)
As well as welcoming the sweetest new addition to Saucony’s running silhouette, we also took the time to chat with 1/2 of Sponge Cola (who also happened to be SneakPeek ambassadors), because, well, how could we not?
In this short but definitely sweet coverage, we not only show you the freshly unlocked Saucony Originals Shadow 5000 Elite. We also give you the chance to know about Sponge Cola’s Yael Yuzon and Ted Mark Cruz a little better when they’re not rocking out onstage!
Just a disclaimer: these dudes are funny AF.
