Sennheiser HE1 Headphones or 100 ‘Britney In Manila’ Tickets?
April 11, 2017 AFTERPARTY TEAM
Sennheiser has one of the world’s most expensive headphones which is marketed towards those rich audiophiles around the world. The price, which is really hefty, can be quite(?) justified by the Sennheiser HE1 Orpheus headphones’ mighty specs.
A quick look at the HE1 headphones will give you an impression that it’s really just a headphone. However, it comes with its own amplifier with a marble base. That marble material certainly looks better than any other headphone amplifier out there.
When turned on, the HE1 headphone amplifier shows off eight magnificent tubes that emit an orange glow depending on the intensity of the power required to drive the audio. The glow itself is a sight to behold while listening to your favorite kind of music.
With a price of $55,000, you’d think that nobody in their right mind would buy them. Right? Wrong! In fact, Sennheiser’s first year production of the HE1 headphones have been sold out. That’s around 250 headphones.
It proves that there is indeed a market for high-end audiophile equipment across the globe. There are people who like to enjoy live music but there are also who enjoy listening at the comfort of their own home.
There are other more expensive headphones like the Onkyo H900M with the 20-carat diamonds but Sennheiser is well-known for their high-quality products. For those who’d rather go to live gigs and concerts, $55,000 can already net you almost a year’s worth of concert tickets.
Headphones or Live Music?
You can buy more than 100 SVIP Britney in Manila tickets for that amount of money. Even if you brought your whole family, you could probably go to at least 10 concerts together.
It all boils down to your preference. There is nothing wrong in enjoying a good cup of coffee or glass of wine while listening to your favorite record at home. You can also go to the latest gigs and events to experience your favorite bands and DJ sets live. What unites us is our love for the art of music.
